About The Author

Karl P. Sauvant , PhD, is Resident Senior Fellow at the Vale Columbia Center on Sustainable International Investment (VCC), Senior Research Scholar and Lecturer in Law at Columbia Law School, and Guest Professor at Nankai University, China. He was the Founding Executive Director of VCC and Director of UNCTAD's Investment Division. He is the editor of The Evolving International Investment Regime (OUP, 2011 with Jose E. Alvarez).
